four hundred square metres of warehouse on the river at cais do sodré. old brick, high ceilings, the tejo at the door. seven rooms across two floors, from a daylight studio to a main hall that takes 180 standing. hire one room, or take the building.
dinners, concerts, launches, workshops, screenings, private parties, a day of filming. the kitchen and the bar are the house’s own and already work these rooms, so nothing has to be brought in. the sound system is installed. the team stays close, or out of the way, you say which.
the main hall
108 m² of brick, beams and long tables. 180 standing, 120 seated.
the terrace
long tables at sunset, the bridge in the distance.
the lounge
hanging chairs and low tables. a softer corner for a smaller gathering.
the table
food and drink are the house’s. no outside caterers, no outside bar. the set menu is served to share at €35 a person, with a wine pairing and a welcome glass for €15 more. the kitchen also cooks to brief, and quotes for it.
