gypsy dinner

one night, friday 11 september. one long table by the river, the table sits down at 18:00. meze lands in the middle, the plates keep moving, rakı is poured slowly. you sit where there is room, which is usually beside someone you have not met.

the kitchen is gypsy. €40 a person, and a pairing if you want one.

the long table at tejá at night, candles and shared plates on a painted cloth

who cooks

gypsy began at a table at home. a few plates, a few bottles, people who had never met. then more tables, more faces, new dishes. born of anatolian fire and mediterranean flow, always moving, and here for one friday night in september, at cais do sodré.

ugur and ozgun run the kitchen. @gypsy.lisboa.

we belong not to places, but to moments.

gypsy

comfort here does not come from what anyone owns. it comes from freedom, laughter, and a table that is shared. connection over perfection, and then the night keeps going.
