PRIVACY

What we collect, why, and how to have it deleted. Written to be read rather than to be survived.

Who we are

TEJÁ House, at Cais do Sodré 5, Lisboa. The company behind it is Statusterrace Lda, NIF 514822783. For anything on this page, write to curation@tejahouse.com.

What you give us

If you write to us, join the letters, put your name on a waitlist, register for something or ask about hiring a room, we keep what you typed into that form: usually a name and an email address, and whatever you chose to tell us about the date or the event. We keep it so we can answer you, hold your place, and write to you about the thing you asked about.

We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anyone except the services we use to run the house: our content system, our mail, and our accountant where an invoice follows.

We keep it for as long as it is doing that job. Ask us to delete it and we will, except where we have to keep a record for accounting.

What the site measures

We count pages and clicks, so we can tell which nights people are actually interested in. That is done with PostHog, on European servers, without cookies: nothing is stored on your device and nothing follows you to another site. We cannot tell who you are from it, and we do not try to.

If that ever changes, this page changes first and you will be asked before anything is stored on your device.

Where we send you

Tickets and registrations for most events are somewhere else: Luma, Shotgun, and the ticket page of whoever is running the night. Once you are there you are on their site, under their terms, and what they collect is theirs to explain.

Your side of it

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and ask us to stop writing to you. One email does any of them: curation@tejahouse.com. If we get it wrong, you can complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados.
