If you cannot find what you need, write to us and we will go and look. We would rather send you something good than have you work with nothing.

About the house
TEJÁ House is a creative and cultural space in Lisbon: a set of rooms shaped to bring different people, ideas and practices into conversation. It invites artists, creators, groups and communities from different fields to develop ideas, make connections and create encounters.
A converted riverside warehouse at Cais do Sodré. The Tejo is on the other side of the glass. Open seven days, since 16 July 2026. Please take that paragraph and use it as it is if it helps.

Writing about us
Name the specific thing
The artist, the dish, the hour. Specifics are what make it read as real rather than as an advert. If you cannot name it yet, leave it out and add it later.
We, when you are talking to people
On social and in messages the house says we. When you are describing the place in a listing or a bio, it is TEJÁ House is.
No urgency
No last places, no do not miss, no exclamation marks. Say it once, clearly, and trust people to decide. Scarcity is fine as a fact when it is true, never as a lever.
Say the exhibition before a title
A show title arriving cold reads as a riddle. The exhibition Entre Corpos e Terras, not Entre Corpos e Terras.

The colours
Four, and the job matters more than the hex. Burgundy carries anything that has to be read. Sand is a ground to put ink on, never text itself.

The type
Titles are set in Ranch Water, everything else in Agrandir, both in capitals. The typefaces are licensed rather than ours to give away, so they are not on this page: write to us and we will sort it out with you, or send us your text and we will set it and send the artwork back.
Two things we ask
Nothing AI-generated
We do not use AI-made images for anything here, so we cannot share one for an event in the house. If you are short of material, ask us, and there is more than what is on this page.
Show us before it goes out
Send the artwork over and we will come back quickly, usually the same day. It is a second pair of eyes, not an approval process, and it has caught a wrong date more than once. A credit to @tejahouse is always appreciated.
Getting on our site
Add us as a collaborator on Shotgun, or as a host on Luma, using curation@tejahouse.com. Once you do, your event appears on this site by itself and goes out to our list. Nothing else needed from you. Send the Shotgun artwork to the Luma page too, so the two carry the same image.

Tell us your headcount and your format and we will tell you which room takes it and how it is laid out. The spaces.
